Props

Throughout our soap trailer, we did not use many props, as the stories that we wanted to include did not require anything in particular. Throughout our soap trailer, we had three different stories, reflecting issues that the characters are facing. One of the props that we used was at the beginning of the soap trailer, which was the mobile phone. The mobile phone was linked with one of the stories that was shown within the trailer later on, which was the drug scene. During this scene with the character walking along holding the phone, the character is reading a message on his phone, which says 'Meet @ 4 in alley'. The reason why we decided to do this was because we wanted to keep the audience thinking about what was going to happen later on within the trailer.

The other main prop that we used throughout the trailer was used within the drug scene, with the bad containing drugs. This is the story that linked to the scene at the beginning of the trailer, with the guy reading the message on the phone. The reason why we decided to use the drugs is because it makes the scene more realistic With the combination of the drugs and the dark, isolated location that we used, it helped make this particular story within our trailer  more effective.
